Hi all- Thank you to all who were able to make last night's Pearl Potluck at Nancy Jolliffe's. It was great to see you all and the food was so delicious. How fun too that we we able to wish Migit Snyder a happy belated 90th birthday! (Her birthday was in August.)
Here's a quick up date of need to know info from the meeting:
We distributed a Member survey, to find out what interested you about the Alum group and what you all would like to do in the further. I have emailed you all the survey today, so that everyone in the membership gets an opportunity to fill it out. Please get them to Amy no later than Oct. 18. Thanks.
Also, we were reminded to please get in our annual membership dues to Nancy Breithart.
Mary Baumgarten talked about the upcoming Birmingham Panhellenic Annuual Luncheon (Nov 3) that will be at Orchard Lake Country Club and feature vedor tables and a speaker talking "All About Chocolate." Tri Delt is a gold patron for the event.
Kim Van Gorder let us know that the Iotas are doing well and that we sent them a floral arrangement for Rush.
We had a wonderful speaker from St. Jude talk to us about St. Jude, Tri Delt and St. Jude and this wonderful family friendly walk that St. Jude is hosting at The Somerset Collection on Nov. 19. We are in the process of putting together a Tri Delta team...if you are interested in walking or volunteering for the event (registration table or handing out snack, water bottles or t-shirts), please contact Amy Zimmer and she will add you to the team roster and register for us. We would like to have anyone interested signed up by Oct. 3. There is no cost to register or walk, but as a chapter if we can make our personal goal to raise $35 a walker, that would be great.
Look forward to see you all soon, either at the Panhellenic Lunch, the St. Jude walk, or at Founder's Day!
-Amy Zimmer
