Very sad news...

Very sad news... Jeanne Gable died yesterday from cancer. She was just diagnosed in mid-December, so it was very quick. She will certainly be missed by our Tri Delta family.

Visitation for Jeanne Gable is at Pixley Funeral Home Friday Feb 3 from 2-4 and 6-8 at 322 West University Drive, Rochester 48307

The Service is a St. Paul’s United Methodist Church on Sat Feb 4 at 10:00. St. Paul’s is at 620 Romeo Street, Rochester 48307

Founder's Day Thanks

Thanks to all the Deltas who were able to join us at Bloomfield Open Hunt Club for our Founder's Day! And thanks to Joyce Federhart for hosting, Sara Kravitz for organizing our speaker Nancy Breithart for putting together the event and collecting money.

Bid day news from Iota...

Here is some news from Iota that just missed making the Winter Triple Talk news letter. Enjoy this Rush update from Iota's Stephanie Command:




"We are pleased to welcome 54 new members to Iota chapter this fall, including 13 legacies, 5 of which are sisters of current collegiate members! Recruitment was extremely successful, largely because of the help we received from alumni. We were able to collect hundreds of dresses total, and donated a large majority of them. The set up turned out beautifully, and the project was extremely well-received by rushees. Overall, the prom dresses contributed to the most successful third set that we have had in years! Amanda Kleeman, our third sets chair, did a phenomenal job preparing the entire event. Kelsey Buckstaff, our philanthropy chair, also worked extremely hard to put together the prom dress project. I think everyone would agree that all the hard work payed off in the end.



Also during third sets we held a "mock-tail party" on the sun deck. The deck was beautifully decorated with rented tables. We hired a florist and had our very own cook Kathy make fruit pizza treats which really contributed to the success of the set. We also served iced tea accented with mint leaves. I could not have been more pleased with how the set turned out overall.



Our preference parties were equally as beautiful. Speakers during the ceremony were prepped by our own Janet Repp, and delivered beautiful, heartfelt speeches.

Third Sets: Casa Blanca. "

Founder's Day

Join us in celebration of Tri Delta's founding with a delicious dinner and celebration at BOH. Also, bring your checkbooks and help decorate our Star Tree with a golden star donation to the Delta Delta Delta Foundation. Hosted by: Joyce Federhart. We will have a presentation from Walter Rosenblum from Associates in Hypnosis, who will speak about managing stress and offer strategies we can use right away (so helpful as we head into the stress of the holiday season!)
